This journey we refer to as “spiritual” is simply an opportunity to remember the Truth of who we are. Of course, Truth, once we recognize it, appears to have been hiding, all along, in plain sight. As you know by now, the magnificent gift God/Source/Life has given me, as it reveals its Truth, is my ability to see how simple Truth is. My joy then, is multiplied as I share this gift with others. I believe I have the most fun and easiest job ever: sharing Truth!

As I watched Lance Armstrong, being interviewed by Oprah, I was focused on the courage that is necessary, to face the world and confess to lying. I can understand that, on the human level where everyone is unconscious, being irresponsible, and getting caught up in pre-meditated acts of self-importance are simply par for the course. Yes, what he did, and the fact he denied it and spent years covering up the truth, wreaked havoc on the sport of professional cycling. Not to mention the countless lives, families and organizations, including LiveStrong, who were caught in the devastating trail of one man’s self-centered quest to win, no matter the cost.

A few weeks ago, I happened to be in New York City, while hurricane Sandy pummeled the northeastern United States. And, as if hurricane Sandy wasn't enough of a destructive force, two weeks later, a ferocious nor'easter winter storm brought record snow fall to the same fragile, and still recovering, area.

Fall is in the Georgia air, and I like it! We know it's Fall when football season starts and TV's new episodes hit the wide screen. Another sure sign, Fall is upon us, are the leaves beginning to change colors. I am also enjoying the element of surprise as I discover new pumpkin patches sprouting all over town. Oh the simple joys a new season brings! Just as the season's follow one another, allowing us to count on Fall following Summer, and always preceding Winter. And even though no two individual days are ever alike, so too the spiritual journey follows a pattern, even-though, no two people's journey's will ever be alike. This is one of the most profound Truths that has been revealed to me, as I continue to listen to the wisdom of my Soul.

It's Valentine's Day, again. The time of year when lovers scurry to get the perfect gift or plan the perfect event that expresses they are "in" love. As Hallmark and Godiva's cash registers overheat with sales, champagne bottles and roses are being delivered around the world. It's interesting how, as a culture, we set one day aside to show how much we love others. Can you imagine what life would be like, if instead of showing we are "in" love, we would simple "be" love?
